Y’know what sucks? Being 18 and never having had a relationship in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I know in some ways it’s good - like I know I can be independent & it’ll just make everything so much more special when it does happen for me.. But it still sucks a lot. Especially on nights like this…
You’re not the only one.
I was like that for the majority of my teenage years. I never felt good enough to be in a relationship; I wondered if it was because I wasn’t attractive enough, smart enough, or funny enough. This only intensified, especially after being rejected by the guy I would’ve done anything for, to the point that being in a relationship didn’t seem appealing anymore. It was only until I finally met an incredible guy that loves me. He makes me feel beautiful. He’s someone I can laugh with, cry with, someone that is proud to say I’m his girlfriend.
He’s the first guy I was every in a serious relationship with and it took me after high school to meet him. You will meet someone; it may not always be the quickest process but it does happen.
